MEET DR. RICHARD WERNER
Plastic Surgeon Serving Minneapolis, Edina MN & Surrounding Areas
Dr. Richard S. Werner grew up in Minnesota and graduated from the University Of Minnesota Medical School. He did his fellowship in plastic surgery at the University of Missouri under Charles Puckett, M.D. Dr. Werner was chief resident in 1979, and soon started his Minneapolis practice in July 1979.
Dr. Werner practices in Edina MN and has a group currently consisting of five plastic surgeons. It is our custom to not charge for a cosmetic surgery consultation and parking is always free at our Edina location.
Dr Werner is part of the staff at the following Twin Cities regional hospitals: Abbott Northwestern, Fairview-University Medical Center, Fairview-Southdale Hospital and West Health Surgery Center. In addition, Dr. Werner is a member of the Minnesota Society of Plastic Surgery and has received numerous awards related to his medical practice.
Aside from the practice of plastic and cosmetic surgery, in any free time he has available he enjoys flying planes as a trained pilot and traveling the beautiful lakeside roads of Minnesota by motorcycle. Art has also been a constant part of his life and the human form in particular has always fascinated him. He studied sculpture in college and has been an active art student ever since. He finds bronze casting allows him to express an admiration for the female figure and at the same time apply his skillfulness to his surgery.
